The Nissan Micra was first released in 1982. Back then the car was known for being contemporary, as it was easier to drive making it a great car for new drivers on the road. Available with different engine sizes and the option of manual or automatic, the Micra was a hit! As you can see it was only a three car door back then too.
The car became known as a very reliable car and took on the title of being the best in 1995!
Since this first generation model, the Micra became bulbous on the edges so the but at the time this gave it a more modern silhouette.
Overtime extra features were introduced such as, navigation system, exclusively being a five car door, with better fuel efficiently, new colours such as baby pink. Then, eventually the last 5th generation model was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 2016, where the car had sharper lines and hidden door handles, making it a sportier looking car. Lastly, the interior included new materials that hadn't been used before, which ultimately gave it a more premium feel.
